Dodge Parts in South Carolina
Mopar (short for MOtor PARts) is the automobile parts and service arm of the
DaimlerChrysler American brands Dodge Chrysler and Jeep. The term was first used
by Chrysler in the 1920s and has been in continuous use ever since.
Mopar parts are created by the same corporate teams that developed your Dodge
Chrysler or Jeep. So they are designed to fit, perform and wear exactly to your
vehicle. In fact, Mopar are the only parts manufactured from the same stamping
dies used in the original production of your vehicle. Mopar advantages include
the highest-level materials, exact fit, correct colors and original equipment
finish. It's your only guarantee that what's under the hood, matches what's on
the hood.
Mopar has passed into broader usage among car enthusiasts as an unambiguous
reference to the Chrysler parent company, as the Chrysler name also refers to a
company marquee. The term has thus become an inclusive word for any
Chrysler-built vehicle-most any Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Imperial, or DeSoto,
plus Jeeps and AMC vehicles built after Chrysler's 1987 buyout of AMC-Jeep.
Thus, for example, a car club for owners of any Chrysler Corporation vehicle
might describe itself as a club for "Mopar enthusiasts".
If you have any questions our knowledgeable parts staff will be happy to
assist you with all your Mopar needs.
Myrtle Beach Tourism
Over ten million tourists visit Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas every
year. The area's attractions include its beaches and many golf courses, as well
as a number of amusement parks, an aquarium, over 1,900 restaurants including
seafood restaurants, and a number of shopping complexes. The area also has an
IMAX theater, dinner theater, nightclubs, and many tourist shops.
Other attractions include the Myrtle Beach State Park and fishing. The area
recently welcomed Hard Rock Park, a park themed after the popular Hard Rock Cafe
chain. The park featured attractions themed after different genres of music,
such as the British Invasion. Hard Rock Park was only open for the summer of
2008, afterwards filing for bankruptcy protection.
The park was sold, the buyer only acquiring the physical property, not the
intellectual property, and was thus re-named Freestyle Music Park and re-opened
on Memorial Day 2009. Also in the city is Myrtle Waves, one of the largest water
parks on the eastern seaboard. Broadway at the Beach is a popular shopping and
entertainment destination.
Visitors should note that the city council has passed a number of ordinances
affecting the city limits of Myrtle Beach, that may not be the same as the rest
of the state.
It is notable that although gambling is not legal in the state of South
Carolina, the city has access to several gambling boats, which "legally
transports passengers into international waters beyond the reach of federal and
state gambling laws."
